—  ADMISSIONS  —

Begin your application.

We don't enroll everyone. We admit a limited number of practitioners per cohort to protect the quality of instruction, community, and clinical feedback each student receives. The process begins with a short application - followed by a conversation with the admissions team.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Who we admit.

STRONG FIT

You're a good fit if you

  • Already work with clients (or plan to within 6 months)
  • Want clinical depth, not surface-level wellness content
  • Are committed to evidence-based, root-cause practice
  • View education as an investment in your work and your clients
  • Are ready to apply what you learn while you're learning it

PROBABLY NOT A FIT

This isn't the right fit if you

  • Are looking for a quick credential without clinical application
  • Aren't planning to work with clients post-graduation
  • Aren't comfortable with case-based learning and peer discussion
  • Are seeking a license to practice as a primary medical provider

COMMON QUESTIONS

Admissions questions, answered.

What's the time commitment?

Tier I is 50+ hours of material over 6 months. Tier II is 80+ hours over 12 months. Tier I includes a weekly live Q&A; Tier II includes two live calls per week (Q&A + lab interpretation). All sessions are recorded — most students dedicate a few hours per week to coursework, calls, and case study review.

How much does the program cost?

Tuition varies by tier, payment plan, and any active cohort offers. We discuss pricing in detail on the interview call so we can match you to the right tier and payment structure for your situation. Multiple payment options are available, including monthly payment plans and financing options to make the program accessible.

Can I skip Tier I and enroll directly into Tier II?

Tier I is the standard prerequisite for Tier II — but qualified practitioners may apply to enroll directly into Tier II. Eligibility is reviewed individually during the interview call. Bring documentation of your existing credentials or coursework.

Do I need to be a licensed practitioner to apply?

No. The RSN Institute is open to health coaches as well as licensed clinicians — RDs, RNs, NPs, MDs, NDs, estheticians, and others — along with those entering the field. Tier I is open to all; Tier II requires Tier I or equivalent functional nutrition training. Graduates earn the Functional Nutrition Practitioner credential through AANWC, ANWCB, AANWP, and AADP accreditation. U.S. graduates are pre-qualified for GEHA licensure.

What credential do I earn?

Tier I graduates earn the Functional Nutrition Practitioner (FN-P) credential, accredited by AANWC, ANWCB, AANWP, and AADP. Tier II graduates earn the Functional Nutrition Practitioner credential with advanced lab testing interpretation. All U.S. graduates are pre-qualified for a GEHA license — a 501(c)(3) Ecclesiastical association with a defined practice pathway across all 50 states.

What is the admissions timeline?

We run rolling admissions with cohort start dates each season. The Summer 2026 cohort closes June 15. Fall 2026 applications open mid-July. International applicants are welcome — sessions are recorded and accessible across time zones.

What happens after I'm accepted?

Accepted students receive enrollment paperwork, payment setup, course portal access, and a welcome packet with cohort details. Cohorts kick off with a structured orientation that covers the call calendar, course platform, and community access. You'll be introduced to your cohort and the RSN team before your first module begins.

Is there a refund policy?

Refund and withdrawal policies are detailed in your enrollment agreement. We discuss this on the interview call so you have full clarity before committing. Our goal is to admit students who are committed to completing the program — which is why we use an interview-based admissions process rather than open enrollment.
